Creta Farms hot dogs are delicious, classic-style hot dogs, with one very important difference. Preheat oven to 375°F.
Arrange tartlet shells on a baking sheet, place in oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove tartlets from the oven and cool completely.
In a food processor, combine sour cream, feta cheese, olive oil and black pepper. Pulse the mixture on high until ingredients combine and become a smooth consistency. Fold in the egg and place the finished mixture in a piping bag, reserving until ready to assemble. In a medium non-stick saute pan, heat canola oil over medium high heat. Add onions and chopped hot dogs and cook until browned, approximately 5-8 minutes. Remove from heat and reserve mixture until ready to assemble.
To assemble tartlets, fill with approximately 1 tablespoon of the hot dog mixture and top with the feta cheese mixture to completely fill tartlet. Place tartlets in the oven and for 15 minutes, or until feta mixture is set and lightly browned. Remove from the oven and allow the tartlets to cool slightly.
Serve warm.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Prepare your favorite macaroni and cheese, according to the package instructions.
In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and melted butter.
Warm a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Spray with non-stick spray and cook hot dog, rotating frequently until warmed thoroughly with a lightly golden exterior.
To make hot dog, layer 2 tablespoons of macaroni and cheese in the bottom of the bun. Top with hot dog and the remaining 2 tablespoons of macaroni and cheese. Transfer prepared hot dog to a baking sheet and sprinkle the top of the prepared hot dog with the breadcrumb mixture. Place in the oven and bake until the breadcrumb mixture is lightly brown and crisp.
Serve immediately.
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter and honey.
Add milk mixture to the flour mixture and mix just until combined. Gently fold in jalapeno, cheddar cheese and hot dogs.
Spray muffin pan with non-stick spray and portion muffin mixture evenly. Place pan in oven and bake for approximately 12 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from oven and allow muffins to cool slightly before serving.
