Roast Beef Grilled Crostini

Lightly Seasoned Roast Beef Crostini
Ingredients (Yield: 20 crostini):
- 1 ea. Baguette, day old
- 3 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil, EVOO
- 1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper, freshly cracked
- 10 oz. Red Onion Marmalade
- 20 slices Creta Farms Lightly Seasoned Roast Beef, thinly sliced
- 20 sprigs Garnish - Italian Parsley, Chives, Baby Watercress, or Baby Frisee
Preparation
- Preheat your grill (medium high) or oven (400 degrees).
- Slice baguette on a bias, approximately ½ inch think or the width of your index finger.
- Place sliced baguette in a bowl and drizzle the EVOO over the bread. Season with salt and pepper and toss until evenly coated.
- Using tongs place the seasoned baguette slices on the grill. Toast the bottom side until lightly brown or until desired doneness. Flip and repeat on other side. Remove from heat when finished. If toasting in the oven, place on a sheet pan for 4 minutes, remove sheet pan, flip crostini and toast for another 4 minutes.
Assembly
- Once the crostini has cooled, spread 1Tbsp of the Red Onion Marmalade on the crostini.
- Drape each crostini with slice of the Creta Farms Lightly Seasoned Roast Beef.
- Garnish with your choice of herbs or micro greens.
